
Karla McGaha
FNP-BC
Karla McGaha has been a part of our family medical team since March 2011. She has a strong background in emergency medicine and family medicine as well as oncology and hematology. Karla attended Western Carolina University in 1994-2000 and graduated with a Bachelor in Science specializing in Emergency Medical Care. In 2002, she went back to school where she attended Winston Salem State University and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. In 2007, she began her journey of becoming a nurse practitioner. She graduated in 2010 from Western Carolina University with a Masters of Science in Nursing and FNP. Karla is certified with the ANCC- American Nurses Credentialing Center as well as having her Paramedic Certification. Karla is now taking new patients and is available daily for same day acute illness appointments.
Karla lives in Mills River, NC with her husband Brandon, and three daughters: Taylor, Emma, and Karlee.
